When Detective Bennett O'Mara finds a chocolate wrapper on a strangled girl, it leads him to enigmatic chocolatier Juliana Lovece.
This movie is neither gripping, nor is it good. It is so full of cliché and lazy stereotypes that one wonders how it ever got made. When the best line in the whole film is “You’re a dickhead”, you know you’re on weak ground. I do not know why this film was made – it has almost no redeeming qualities at all, save Louise Lombard, who plays the lead in this abysmal piece of cinema. Australia’s produced many great films – but, rest assured, this is not one of them.
